初めてのWWOOFだったので不安と期待で胸がいっぱいでしたが、ホスト光月さんはチャーミングな笑顔で温かく迎え入れてくれました！光月さんが運営するグリーンヒルズ松永は、様々なジャンルの人々が集う、出会いと交流の空間です。蚊などの虫が多いのには驚きましたが（笑）、生き物も過ごしやすい自然豊かなところでした。wwooferとしては、農作業だけでなく、グランドゴルフ場の清掃や、うどん作り、瞑想、座禅、腹式呼吸　etc…たくさんの事を体験させてもらいました。光月さん、貴貢恵さん、玄雄さん、中井さん、海希くん、本当にありがとうございました！また伺いますね♪

I second everything my mom (h29838) said below! We had a great, interesting,unique time at Green Hills. It's a beautiful place, very relaxing, and the area is gorgeous. Our host is kind, generous and a very good cook.

My daughter and I spent nearly 2 weeks with  at Green Hills in Matsunaga. It was a wonderful experience and we have only good things to say about this place, Green Hills, and our host Kougetu. The work is easy (we work for about 4 hours a day) and pleasant- mostly weeding flower gardens and landscaping. There is some brush clearing and cooking. We even learned how to made udon noodles, which were oishi! Kougetu is not the typical reserved Japanese man. He is very outgoing, fun-loving, and also kind and considerate. He took us sightseeing into beautiful costal villages of Matsunaga and beyond. When we go grocery shopping, which is often, we can select whatever we want. The accommodations are rustic but comfortable. We had our own small cabin with sleeping loft which was very clean and cozy. The bathrooms are also rustic, but the shower is hot and has good water pressure. Kougetu has a more traditional Japanese way of life than the normal busy Japanese worker. We take time for meditation in the evening and there is also walking meditation in the morning. If you are looking to learn about organic farming this is not the place for you, but if you want to relax and see and learn more about Japanese life and surrounding area, this is perfect.
